@cate- It was super easy & I had no idea what I was doing. I worked on it for an hour yesterday & then an hour today… and now I am all moved over! It would probably have gone even faster but I was busy futzing about
I just got set up with a host, signed up with WordPress via the host and then gave WordPress permission to my blogspot blog & voila! Here I am 
If you have any questions let me know- I’m no expert but happy to help however I can.
FINALLY you made the switch to WordPress!! Congrats, it’s a much, MUCH better blogging platform. Let me know if you have any questions about WordPress at all, and I’ll do my best to help you out.
P.S. Oh, one of the first plugins you need is Disqus.
