R.O.A.R. Squad: Kari and her rescue dogs Baily, Mesa and Big Carl
Here we have a snuggly R.O.A.R. Squad bunch! I love this photo because I think it is something we can all so easily identify with: The Dog Nap Pileup. Love it. This is Kari and her dogs Baily, Mesa and Big Carl. Kari blogs about her beautiful family at My Life With Dogs.
Where: Kari used to live in Alaska and adopted Baily (the pup in front) from Alaska Dog and Puppy Rescue and Mesa (at Kari’s feet) from Anchorage, AK Animal Care and Control. She now lives in California and adopted Big Carl (the little guy on top) from Strangest Angels Rescue (Editors note: That is a FABULOUS name for a rescue org!).
What: Baily and Mesa are pit bulls, Big Carl is a chihuahua (bwahahahah!).
Where: Kari’s family started in Alaska and they are now in California.

I must say, we are simply awesome
It’s great to see our favorite California pitbull, and Big Carl, family here. I never realized the pooches had Alaskan roots too…I thought it was just Kari. Yeah for rescue!

I sleep like this every night. 4 Chihuahuas (5 actually, but Betty sleeps in the living room and “guards” the front door), all piled on me, with lots of room left over. My bf drives a truck, so he’s not home much, but when he’s here, they pile on both of us. Love the new blog, Shauna. I put your website on my blog. (featherears – on Twitter, that’s me :0)
