Happy Holidays from Melissa, Daisy and Jasper! Nuthin wrong with a little festivity in the Spring/almost Summer! Welcome to the R.O.A.R. Squad guys! All about Melissa and her gorgeous pups:

About Melissa:  I cannot tell you how much I support this mission. I am a pet sitter and dog walker, but I also volunteer at our local shelter and have fostered and adopted rescue dogs (including my two current dogs – Daisy and Jasper. Just couldn’t give the little buggers up!).

Lovely Lab: Daisy, my Lab, was a breeding dog in a puppy mill who ended up at our shelter at age 4. She’s been with me 2 years and has made so much progress in that time!

Jazzy Jasper: Jasper, my Sheltie, likely came from a puppy mill as well, although we can’t prove it. He and his sister sat in a pet store window for the first 7 months of their lives until a woman walked in and rescued them and brought them to our shelter. I fostered both of them and in the end, kept Jasper. When he was rescued he was missing fur, had fleas and was not potty trained – now he is a very happy and healthy boy.

How They Met: I adopted both Jasper and Daisy from the Minnesota Valley Humane Society

Goofy Habits: Daisy will carry anything in her mouth when she’s excited… her dish, a bone, her “woobie” or stuffed animal; Jasper loves to try and catch waves at the lake or when I am emptying the kiddie pool.
