Happy Mother’s Day!
This is me and my ma:

This what my mom and I look like when we've been walking around in the rain for 2 hours. Good times.
Isn’t my mom so cute? Aw! Happy Mother’s Day, mom! (there’s another photo of a photo of us here)
And a very Happy Mother’s Day to all you moms out there!
This Week
R.O.A.R. Squad stuff:
- Jeffrey and his parrot - this one was quite educational for me!
- Eric the dog trainer and Buddha from New Jersey
- Firefighter Dayna and her Dalmatian- Dayna has published books and everything!
- Sandy and one of her rescues, Big Daisy from Michigan
- The sailors, Laura and Hans with theit pitbull Wilbur
Other stuff:
- Photo of my dogs on the beach
In the Blogosphere:
- Kayloo and Mickey show up on a blog over in Korea! I’m not sure what the blog is called, so I’m going to go with Blog Over in Korea!
- The Accidental Olympian mentions her gorgeous pup, Oly is part of the R.O.A.R. Squad (this isn’t from last week, but I was lame and didn’t mention it until now)
- Take Paws from GoPetFriendly provides more of the back story to Buster (once again… not this week but I was abducted by aliens and so couldn’t have possibly mentioned it earlier…)
- Over at Doggy Bytes, Jim, one of the first R.O.A.R. Squad members, weighs in on who he thinks is the BEST R.O.A.R. Squad member. Three guesses as to who he thinks is the coolest. First two don’t count…
- Eric from Dog Spelled Forward mentions that the Best Dog in the World is now part of the R.O.A.R. Squad (I am noticing a bit of a theme here…)
- Over at Daily Dog Scoop the Smiling is Beautiful post is mentioned when talking about how dogs are considered good listeners
Coming up:
We’ve got some wicked bloggers coming up in the next week… so stay tuned!

Isn’t 2 hours of rain just another day where you live?!
Har de har har… ha!
*Actually*- believe it or not I did a wee bit of a rainfall analysis before John and I moved here. I KID YOU NOT (I have a tendency to put things into spreadsheets. John was drowning in excel when we got married). There is *way* less rainfall here on the island than there is in Vancouver. I don’t remember by how much but IT’S IN THE SPREADSHEET.
So sweet! I miss my mummy!!!!!!!!! (she lives in England and I live in Italy). By the way, I’m twittering now – statusviatoris – and I’m getting a bit lost, so look out for me when you’re next there!
Happy Mothers Day! I am really enjoying ROAR
@Status- I saw you on Twitter! You’re followed
@kari- Me too! There are so many awesome, lovely rescue owners out there. Fabulous meeting so many

You choose. No really, whatever you want, pick whatever you want. Are you sure? Do you want another beer?” [...]
