Adoption: Skye the Little Big Girl
She looks like a mini rottie!
Here we have another gorgeous pup available for adoption from Mosaic Rescue. To me Skye looks like a small version of a big dog- perfect for the active couple who wants a small dog that doesn’t look like a “foo-foo”* dog!
I didn’t get a chance to spend too much time with her, but you can read more about all her retrieving energy and human-loving nature here.
And to preempt my mothers’ questions:
- Yes, I did notice the hole in the knee of my jeans.
- No, it didn’t occur to me to change before I left the house that morning.
- MOOoommmm! Shu-UUUp! They’re cooooool!
*Just for the record, I’m all for foo-foo. But foo-foo isn’t for everyone. We are foo-foo lovin’ nation here on Fido & Wino…
Update: I just heard from Mosaic- Skye has been adopted! Woo hoo!

This is what Mosaic says about her mix:
“We had been told that she was a border collie mix but we now believe she is mostly Australian Shepherd with perhaps a bit of Rottweiler thrown in for colour.”
