R.O.A.R. Squad: Jennifer and Steven and their dog, Angel

ROAR Squad: Jennifer and Steven and their dog, Angel

The gorgeous trio in the photo above is Jennifer and Steven Campbell and their pup, Angel. Steven is a cancer survivor and while in recovery he and his wife were inspired to invest their hearts and time into a unique dog walking business, Heeling Dog Walks.

If you live around Victoria, BC: Jennifer and Steven have organized an event going on this Sunday, June 27th, 2010 at Beaver Lake Field off Elk Lake Drive starting at 11am: The New Leash on Life Heeling Dog Walk with proceeds to benefit the BC Cancer Foundation’s Inspire the World Campaign.

Welcome to the R.O.A.R. Squad guys! Your story is an inspiration!

The Humans: Jennifer and Steven Campbell

The Angel: Angel

Balance: Jennifer & Steven Campbell are lifelong dog owners and animal lovers. Jennifer is a fourth generation Registered Nurse who has decided to cut back to part-time to create some balance between her life saving personal care and her devotion for animals and the great outdoors. Steven has been in restaurant management for several years with a great passion for superior customer service, food & wine. He is a cancer survivor and they now together have an entirely new outlook on life which along with their love for Angel and dogs alike inspired them to start Heeling Dog Walks.

Business Partner and Best Friend: Jennifer, Steven and Angel share the love of dogs, exercise, outdoors, socializing and balance in their everyday life.

At Her Best: Angel is a Border Collie/Lab and is instantly friends with everybody she meets, dog or not. She is at her best socializing with friends and blazing through the trails. Watching her excitement while playing with her k9 friends, all the while building the bonds that are extremely important in a dog’s life, reinforced to Jennifer and Steven the importance of balance in life, not only in humans but also in our pets.

The Right Time: Jennifer and Steven adopted Angel from the SPCA. When Steven was recovering from surgery they thought it would be the perfect time to adopt a puppy as he had time off to properly train and nurture her.

Harley? Nah… Angel: When they adopted Angel Jennifer and Steven wanted to name her Harley. When they got her home they realized she was named Angel for a reason. She was absolutely the sweetest, smartest, most lovable dog they could ever imagine. Needless to say they kept the name Angel and she lives up to her name everyday.
