R.O.A.R. Squad: Sarah and her dog, Zoe

R.O.A.R. Squad: Sarah and her "Boston Terror" Zoe!

A huge welcome to the R.O.A.R. Squad to Sarah Snyder and her beautiful pup Zoe Isabella! Sarah’s runs a bridal boutique in Denver called Blue Bridal Boutique,  has a freelance makeup company called Sarah Betsy (really gorgeous photos!) and you can find her at her make-up blog at botoxisthenewblack.

Welcome guys!

Time:  I was living in a 400 square foot apartment in Austin, TX when I decided I had reached the time in my life that I was able to support a new little munchkin.  I searched Petfinder.com daily on my quest for a new little one, and every time I would email someone about a dog, it had already been adopted.  Until one day, little did I know, I received an email that would change my life forever.

That Much Pee? The dog I was interested in was already adopted, but they had just received a Mom and her three, six-week-old boston terrier puppies from a puppy mill that had recently closed down.  “A boston terrier?” I said to myself, what the heck is that?!  “A puppy?” I said to myself, “Am I really ready to clean up that much pee??”

A Lick Monster of Her Own: As fate would have it, I would meet a boston terrier that very day at a new friends home, about an hour after receiving that email.  It was love at first lick, and the next day I was driving three hours across the Texas countryside to meet my very own little lick monster, Zoe Isabella.  I have been enjoying her unconditional love and affection ever since, and adopting her is quite positively the best decision I have ever made.

Skilled Artist: Zoe is a skilled lick attack artist who cleverly disguises herself as an unassuming shy puppy, until she is close enough to strike!

More Boston Terrors: I am now a foster parent with MidAmerican Boston Terrier Rescue Organization (Editors note: That is so AWESOME! Those pups are lucky to have you as a foster mom!)

Where: We live in beautiful Denver, Colorado!

Beautiful pictures and what a wonderful story! Lick monster is a very accurate description, I’d say. And, cleaning up that much pee is totally worth it, no?

  2. Boston terriers are one of the few dogs that just make me lose my marbles. Love those little happy critters!

It looks like Zoe and Sarah were meant to find one another. ♥

  3. I love how adopting your own dog has led you to become a foster parent!

  4. Peggy says:

What a cute doggy! My dog is a lick monster too and my son theorizes that it’s a female dog trait (maternal instinct?) Wonder if many male dogs are lick monsters too?

  5. Kari says:
