R.O.A.R. Squad: Melissa and David and their dog, Nina
Welcome to Melissa and David and their gorgeous rescue Nina to the R.O.A.R. Squad!
Melissa and David run the apparel company Jus Animalium Culture Apparel (JACA)- they have a really cool tshirt designs and a really cool mission (source):
Jus Animalium Culture Apparel was created to help
the American animal shelter in educating Americans in pet care, pet responsibility and respect for companion animals as well as caring for those millions of unwanted and homeless pets that enter their doors every year. Over 90% of Americans own more than one T-shirt and so we consider it to be the number one marketing tool in America and is why we decided to spread the knowledge of the American pet struggle through it.
JACA is donating $5 from every sale of their American Pitbull tees to Midwest Rescue (they provide forever homes to pitbulls in Chicago) until February 28 so you should TOTALLY BUY ONE. I did! I will model it when it arrives!
Check out some of their tshirt designs (including the American Pitbull design) and read more about Nina after the jump!
If you would like to be profiled in the R.O.A.R. Squad (Rescue Owners Are Rockin!) all the info you need to do so is HERE. A special shout out to fabulous folks in South Dakota, Wyoming and the Yukon- we need you!

Meant to Be: We have a friend that came across her and could not keep her due to the fact that she had too many pets so we took her in!
Master Manipulator: She makes funny noises to let us know she finished using the bathroom and is ready to come in. She’s a manipulator – she knows how to get her way!

Love this story, very similar to our mission at AnnieWear. AnnieWear was inspired by our rescue golden Annie all animal-themed childrens items and part of proceeds are donated to animal rescues. Nina looks like a very lucky girl! Good luck with the T’s they are great
I’ll definitely look into those shirts – very stylish! Welcome to the squad!

Okay, I need one of thopse shirts now. The more dog apparel I have in my closet, the better. I am so glad they have joined! Yay for Nina!
@Melissa- We are so happy to have you! Everyone used to think Kayloo was a bull terrier when she was a puppy- I definitely have a soft spot for them
We’re all going to have to have an American Pitbull tshirt party
@Kristine- It is really funky, isn’t it? Love it!
I love that American Pitbull shirt! And of course anything that helps Chicago. That frog-dog photo is priceless!
Love the t-shirts as well. Nina is beautiful – something about bull terriers that make me want to just stare at them. So glad she has a wonderful home!
