cute denied
John, the dogs and I went for a really long walk last Sunday. Before we headed out we stopped at a taco stand so John could fuel up authentic, spicy goodness.
Mickey was staring at me because he desperately wanted to weasle under the table beside us and scarf down the smushed piece of lettuce tantalizingly waiting there.
Denied.
I’m mean. I’m okay with it.

But it was just lettuce!

At least it was a healthy tendency towards scrap eating. Is this photo another example of your DSLR work? I like it. We just got a DSLR and I’m a bit overwhelmed with all of the settings. I like the semi-fuzzy background look.
Oh no, its the LOOK! You’re a stronger woman than I if you can resist it.
@Kari- Ah, but it’s the principle of the matter, Kari! The principle! (imagine me saying this shaking my fist in the air
)
@Two- I’d say pretty much everything I put up here will be with the DSLR now. I totally know what you mean about being overwhelmed. There is so much to learn! I am doing my best not to be intimidated!
@Trude- Yes, the look is very dangerous. My dogs are masters of the “if she gives us an inch let’s take 18 miles” philosophy however so when I cave I totally end up paying for it. And do. Turkeys.
LOL! I don’t think Mickey was okay with it though!
I always thought it was weird that Shiva would do anything for a piece of lettuce. I mean, what dog works for lettuce? But if Mickey likes it too, then I will no longer think my dog so very strange. Perhaps their palattes are just more adaptable. I guess I should feed her more than once a month.
Again, your photo is breath-taking.
@Mel- I know, he looks pretty hard done by, doesn’t he?
@Kristine- Thing is, Mickey pines after unsniffed leaves if he thinks it MIGHT be food and Kayloo MIGHT get there before him
Thank you so much for the kudos on the shot!
That’s the look mine give me when they know I have much more than just a piece of lettuce. Great photo of Mickey!
