We had thai take-out on Saturday. While we were waiting we sat on the concrete in the sun and Kayloo did her best Pit bull impression.

There are almost no Thai take-out places in Halifax. That so beats deep-friend pickles! As do kisses from Kayloo.

I love how big and scary she looks in the shadow. I’m so excited this week my students are presenting their photo project in another Chicago neighborhood, and I take them out for a nice Thai dinner. None of them have ever tried Thai food and it’s so funny to hear what they think about it (though they usually like it).
